Service Description

This 30 minute service will involve meditation and visualization as real estate workers witness and work with clay, as land. You will leave feeling like land is a part of a planet, AND SO ARE YOU, and neither one is some dead or dying commodity! And more! The violence of abstraction that turned land more fully into a commodity over the course of a long transition (from feudal land relations to forms of ownership that facilitated agrarian capitalism and market capitalism) allows us to continue to distribute land to the richest, and usually the whitest people, first. Is it possible to make land less abstract, and make more imaginative and ethical decisions by touching the land?
