My Hammock is Your Hammock

Judit Navratil

May 31st-June 14th

My Hammock is Your Hammock is a blueprint of our precarious, in-between, groundless existence. It’s a care-full shop window to Judit’s attempts of belonging to a place, responsibilities in communities, anicca: the expansion of the astray of the light, nomad and temporary concept of ‘home’ in the mirror of SIP. The true weight and price of our “freedom” of flux, and a heart-felt goodbye LDS from the Bay Area.

My Hammock is Your Hammock consists of three social but carefully distanced events:

Vernissage, an energy gathering Long Distance Somersault performance

Sunday, May 31st, 2020

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
The physical Installation inside Dream Farm Commons,  will be launched with a Vernissage: a  durational Long Distance Somersault performance  that  will suggest an active contemplation of cycles, circles, traps and the flexibility to roll further.

Digital Doulas ARTCAMP

Sunday, June 7th, 2020

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

During this online gathering, Judit proposes a collaboration for building a virtual reality Art Camp together. She will be the tour guide of the Szívküldi Lakótelep and visitors can look around in its web version. Other sections welcome all participants to ‘move in’ with their own treasures that used to maintain balance between social and virtual realities...

Finissage – social distanced Goodbye Méta Circle

Sunday, June 14th, 2020

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

This body of work coincides with Judit's  departure from the Bay Area to Canada and other lands. There will be a circle either virtual or socially distanced on  the sidewalk, depending on how regulations and recommendations evolve by this date. Once you register we will send you details for the evolving event.
